A great classic of the Gastlosen

The Dent du Ruth offers some awesome, classic multipitch climbs that are still witnesses of the artifdays of former times. Don’t forget to bring nuts and slings, because these old routes are badly equipped. During recent years new routes with about the same level of difficulty have been opened up and are naturally better equipped. There are also some more difficult multipitch routes for ambitious climbers. The relatively long approach and the walk down from the top, which should be mastered with care, are certainly a disadvantage of this climbing spot. On the other hand one can enjoy a marvellous view and idyllic quietness.
