Best pockets in the Basler Jura

Falkenflue offers 173 routes, interesting in style and quality. The holds are primarily pockets, which is quite unusual for the Jura. The wall is for the most part vertical and you have to get used to the climbing character. Easy routes are rare. For climbers who like to climb more easy routes, Pelzli is near and has a bigger selection of easier routes than Falkenflue. Every climbing spot in the Basler Jura can be easely reached by bus or train. The german magazine Klettern called the Basler Jura as one of the most beautiful climbing areas in the world.
