A boulder oasis surrounded by wonderful mountains

The Boulder spot Saleinaz is located far back in the Val Ferret in the Bas Valais. In some climbing magazines as well as on a few websites this spot has been repeatedly mentioned, but remained a quiet oasis surrounded by wonderful mountains.  Perfectly accessible by public transport, 15 minute walk from the bus stop or 10 minute walk from the parking lot makes this beautiful spot with its boulders scattered over a moraine hill at 1200 m altitude ideal for warm days. The shady fir tree forest complements the alpine ambience and one enjoys the beautiful boulders in grades 5 to 8B. The granite is less rough then in other Swiss spots but super nice. One who is making a boulder round trip and is on the way to Italy via the Great San Bernardino must surely stop at this nice boulder spot!
