Alpine multipitch sport climbs in a breath-taking alpine area

The Mälchstuel is a secret spot for alpine sport climbs in a remote and quite area not far from the famous Eiger, Mönch  and Jungfrau. Climbers who look to go climbing there must be ready for an almost four hour ascent on a steep path. The spacious bivouac is right on the foot of the huge wall of the Mälchstuel. Mattress, crockery and pan are available. The 25 routes, approximately 16 of them multi pitch routes from 2 to 8 pitches are in a difficulty range of 6c to 7b and lead through a beautiful high mountain limestone. Some parts can be with loose rock. All routes require a very good endurance and a safe lead of 7a. Partly there is old equipment in place. A good psyche as for the climbs in the Wenden is definitively required! The climbing is variable with athletic parts, but also very tiny face climbing. Friends and new slings for replacing the old slings are in each route needed. Detailed information and the topos are stored in the bivouac. Please don’t remove them! Who is coming up here will enjoy a beautiful day on top routes like Silberloui or Rochlimore. Definitively for the extreme enjoyment and for the fingers!
