Well known climbing spot in western Switzerland

St. Loup, located within a gorgeous, little valley is widely known among climbers. In St. Loup, nearby Lausanne you can find many classic and famous routes in all difficulties. The rock quality is very good and some of the routes have even two pitches. The approach from the railway-station ’La Sarraz’ takes you about 30 minutes, from the parking spot in the village Pompaples, it takes you about 10 minutes. In St. Loup many strong national and international climbers can be found in famous routes like Non à la bombe 8c+, Bain de sang 9a,  Bimbaluna 9a/9a+ or Ultime suffrance 9a.
