Top climbing spot before the gates of Basel

Who remembers Ravage 8b+? In the year 1986, Antoine LeMenestrel accomplished with Ravage the hardest climbing route in the world. One year later, Wolfgang Güllich bested Ravage with his new route, Wallstreet 8c. The distinctive overhang is well known by most of the top climbers of Europe while superb rock quality assures its popularity. The Chuenisbergli is northfacing, which offers ideal temperatures to climb hard routes even during the summer months. Following rain however the rock stays wet for quite a long time. The best conditions are found during late autumn. Recently, some new, difficult routes have been added.
